New pet

Alternative title: "C-Puff goes completely texture crazy"

*sighs* I dunno. I really wanted to draw something but I was feeling so uncomfortable, irritable and aggressive I couldn't really get into the right frame of mind and really struggled with this picture and didn't really enjoy drawing it. After some tea and doing some cooking I relaxed a little and liked the linework and colouring, but now I'm not sure I like the finished picture. *sighs sadly* I think I've hit a rut.

it also doesn't help that little kids are so darn hard to draw! DDDX

Prince Tsuruichi is showing off his new-found pet to the nearest person, in this case Usagi who, luckily, is very fond of little kids.

Praying Mantises are awesome! Any-one who says differently are just hatin'. XDD I can't wait till summer! I hope we get lots of praying mantises this year!

Prince Tsuruichi is Lord Mifune's only son. I believe the boy was about 2 maybe 3 years old when he was murdered. (not really much of a spoiler. Any-one who knows Usagi knows his Lord and his whole family are dead). I always thought Usagi's fondness for children either spawned from guarding his Lord and his family or he was simply born with that kind of paternal instinct.

Bleh... I still don't know if I like this picture or not. I want to draw something really awesome ;____;

At least Usagi looks spiffy in his Bodyguard's uniform.
