The gene for a white lion is recessive, so more often than not if a white lion breeds with a normal lion the cubs will also be normal. White lions are NOT albino. It's a whole nother gene. Like brunettes and blondes in humans. presently there are no TRUE pure-blodded white lions left, and they almost became... well... not "extinct" because it's still a lion, but "not seen around". True White lions have blue blue eyes. The female did but she was lazy and I couldn't get a good shot. this guy's eyes are more icy blue-greey and yellow than true blue.
