FULL VIEW BECAUSE PNG PREVIEWS LOOK LIKE ASS!! :icongoodrageplz:

I couldn't draw for SHIT on Monday! I was working on another picture which was crashing and burning in an epic way. I became frustrated and decided to draw some sily and not so serious and involved, so I drew this. Canon Leo had a lot of problems on the paper but I thought it was OK till I scanned and started to ink the picture, then all the problems were magnified by OVER FIVE THOUUUUSAND!! :( So I had to do a merciless Frankenstein job on the scanned sketch in photoshop. HOPEFULLY it looks close to decent :cries: Why do you hate me so much Leo? Why?? Is it my clothes?? Is it my choice in music?? WHAT IS IT??
*siiiighs* Even though this picture is close to a disaster I'm asking for critiques anyway because I always enjoy hearing people's opinions on what I can improve  for srs.

Anyway...
I've never tried emulating the 2k3 show's style before and this is as close to it as I could get :( Why is Canon Leo Bigger than My-style Leo? .... ....honestly I have no clue :O perhaps because in my natural way of drawing Leo is a lot skinnier (and girly XDD) than in the canon style? I dunno. IT IS A MYSTERY!

I couldn't decide what to do with the colouring. I thought about doing the whole thing cel-shaded but that would be boooooring. Then I thought about doing the whole thing in my normal colouring style but there were so many problems I didn't think it deserved it XDDD, then I thought about going half and half but thought it wouldn't unify the picture. I thought about doing canon Leo in my painted stle and my Leo cel-shaded like the show but that would've been confusing.
In the end I tried to do something close to how :iconjavas: colours his work. It looks NOTHING like Javas' work but I kinda like it.

Why did I choose Leo as my vic- I mean subject?
....
again I don't know :O It just seemed wrong to use any-one else somehow....

Anyway here you go guys :P only reason this survived my scraps was because I like Canon Leo's face.
Hopefully the next picture I tackle will be worth something again :(

Please don't take, trace or repost my art anywhere! Even if I'm not fond of a picture I still worked hard on it! thanks!

Honestly, there isn't much I can complain about with this picture. I really liked the idea of drawing your Leo next to canon Leo. Your style all ready makes the turtles look fairly young, but putting him next to 2k3 Leo makes him look even younger! However, the litheness you give your turtles is a lot more realistic considering their fighting style. In reality the turtles would never be as ripped as they are in canon.

I really like the way you do your line art. Particularly the way you highlight it in areas that light is shining on. I don't really know of any other artists who do the same.

On canon Leo, the plastron line above his arms doesn't quite match up with the one below, but it doesn't draw away from the mood his pose presents.

On you Leo, we see a lot of chest and shoulder and it makes the plastron seem too small for his body.

Again, this doesn't overall take away from the picture. My first impression was awe when I looked at this.

The coloring is perfect. You have a very unique style that is pleasing to the eyes. The highlights and shadows all seem well placed and planned.

My entire synopsis: Beautiful work.
