And they all lived happily ever after until the Shredder came and acted like a douche 8D
Splinter has grown from this experience, learnt some things about himself and has come to terms with who he is and what sort of life he is now living. And he's realised that he's actually fine with that  change is hard, it always is, but sometimes it's a blessing in disguise.

I hope every-one enjoyed my little story. I thought it'd be interesting to write something to show Splinter's transition from orphaned rat into loving father.

I really want to thank every-one who left comments and feedback on these pages, you guys are the best
As I said on the first page, for a while I was going to abandon this story because I didn't think any-one would like it. I'm so happy that some of you enjoyed it as much as you did. You encouraged me to keep going and finish it. Perhaps one day I'll do another short story if I feel the urge to.
As for those who've come late I hope you've enjoyed the story as well :)
I've never done a comic like this, so I'm really grateful for every-one's support. thank you so much!

Raphie is safe, the family is together again, and Splinter has made peace within himself. It's time for some well deserved sleep in the warm nest

Aaaw. Isn't this just too sweet. Nice wording at the end there.

I really like the technique in this page, maybe you were more motivated because it was the end? At any rate, it's a nice page. Good camera work, some nice angles. Good detail too.
Nice body language and acting. I wanted to comment on that in some of the previous pages too, but it slipped my mind while I was typing about other things.

Again, because this one touched on the idea of Splinter's ire towards them at first, I felt it was quite original. I like that.

Anyway, now that we're at the end, I gotta say. Nice job. I really enjoyed this wee short. The only thing that bugged me consistently throughout it, and you know this already, is the eye designs - but we won't go into that again.

You're pretty damn good at this, Girl. If this is the way you tell a story, I hope to God that you don't end up as only an animator for the rest of your life - even if it is the easier way to go. I think, with a lot of work, you could be director material, easy.

OK. Now that this is done, I'm eager to see where else you'd turn your cartooning talents. I'd love to see it applied to something of your own creation. I know that's a slim chance. But if another Turtles one is on the way, how about something about Leo? Preferably the trials of his honour and duty-driven lifestyle? Just a suggestion.
