SPLASH PAGE TIME! :iconfabulousplz:

I drew the pencils for this page the same day I drew the pencils for the previous page. I was worried when I started this one because I wasn't happy with the page before it, but I'm happy with the result because I felt I was able to capture the emotion I was trying to go for :)

Raph and Splinter together again :heart: I like this page a lot, even if there's not many panels.

One more page to go and we're home free every-one :D

OK, now this is quite a powerful page. A bit soppy for my tastes, but I guess that was the point.

There's not a whole lot to comment on with regards to background here. I'm unsure as to whether including background or not would have detracted from the main message of this full-page panel. Perhaps a very light background? It seems that you're working in monotone black here, so including the background in light grey would break everything up, right? How about hairline-thin black? Do you think that would go in there nicely, and not stand out too much compared to the thicker black lines of the foreground characters?
