I'm pretty sure that there was a stage in life when my pictures actually made sense XD;; once... a long time ago....

Mikey doing his "Flying Ninja" Move that we see in the BTTS episode "Virtual Reality check"
I felt it was time for something non emo and not so depressing. You can't get less depressing than Michelangelo.

I can't draw cities at all!! XDDD so I got a stock image from dA and painstakingly repainted it. Every building, every window, all laboriously painted by hand.
I actually started to strain my wrist while doing this, but somehow managed to plow through and finish the picture without putting myself in pain.

Remember I said in the last picture I'd do something better next time? Well I think this fits that category pretty nicely :) I'm proud of it.

I REALLY dislike drawing directly into the computer. I highly prefer doing my sketches on paper first, but I left my sharpener at school so I had no choice but to draw everything in Photoshop. I managed to get myself to feel more comfortable by using a brush that Looks like a traditional pencil and setting my eraser to a low opacity so it didn't completely erase any lines I did, so my sketch actually DOES look like it was done on paper XDDD

I really hope you guys like because like I said, I'm proud of it XD;; even if I needed to use stock. ...and some things kinda bug me. but I really hope you can overlook them :blush:

The city looks great! The foreshortening on the near arm looks a little off, but it's hardly noticeable.

wow, yeah, one can look at this work and see tht its all made by hand and tis amazing, so much hard work and it really looks so good. such patience and talent can't be found everyday.

I love his eyes. I absolutely love them! ^_^


The only thing that slightly bugs me is his shell since it's not supposed to bend like that..but it's really small compared to the whole. Beautiful. Going into my favs for sure.

I have to say that night time city scenes are my fave. ANd this one is beautiful. Mikeys smile almost sets me free like he is. Just free falling with no baoundries. His eyes though are great,. They sparkle like the lights below but your drawn to them to see the joy and happiness that he is experiancing and I feel like I have shared in that expierance.Still I can't believe that you did all the background by hand. It's amazing.
