Some things one can't outgrow.
Other's we don't want to.
Calvin and Hobbes is mine X3 I own every strip ever published.
I should've used a thicker brush for the outlines. and YES, those outlines were done digitally.
I purposefully didn't draw Calvin's face, it wouldn't have worked to try and adept him to look older and frankly I don't want to much around with Mr. Bill Watterson's original style too much.
C&H!!!!! my webcam is C&H. i'm a spaceman spiff fan
and i think its cool to wear sombreros

So many memories of the strip surface as I view this. Charles M. Schultz, Jim Davis, and Bill Watterson were the first three to influence me in the arts, Bill Amend and Jerry Scott soon following after.
If anything, Jerry Scott's one of the reasons why I do hope to one day create a comic with someone.
Nevertheless, this is quite a nice piece of work that you have done. So many others have drawn the older boy without the tiger, thinking that the memory will be forgotten in time. I like the fact that, though he's older, he hasn't forgotten the one friend he's had for so long.

Thank you so much for sharing this magnificence with us all.

All that has ever been created was done so for a reason, even if that reason is just for it to be.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
