Look I actually started! and what a shock, for my topic I chose the tallest

Ok, so I didn't want to do random smeety Tallest again so I decided to draw the scene I had in my head of when the two decided sticking togather was a good idea.

While being primped and trained as possible Tallest along with other hopefuls, things are pretty tough. Purple and Red were chosen as the Tallest in their age group, but they were also the two youngest of the whole group, and thereby also, by some cruel twist of fate, the smallest. However for their age they were very big. The other possibles saw this as a threat to their own chances of becoming The Tallest. So poor Purple who's, let's face it, not the fighting or aggresive type was picked on a lot.
Red was more or less left along but only because he's very good at getting lost in the background of a group and not getting noticed.
However he soon realised he wouldn't go unnoticed forever. So weighing his options he decided he needed an ally. Prups turned out to be a godsend and Red approached him with the logic that two are better than one and if they stick together the other's will probably back off a bit which would benefit them both. However purple needed a little coaxing because after getting beaten up by just about every-one he doesn't trust people very easily. Eventually Red's able to convince him though and they join forces.
The problem with allies however, is that you tend to get attached eventually, but more on that later.

So in this picture Red aproaches Purple after the little guy got his butt kicked yet again. Red asked him if he was ok but obviously Purple isn't too keen an talking to him.

Purple's lucky. No-one ever came to my rescue.

needless to say I wasn't in the best mood when I did this.
